Will Benegal make these Hollywood flicks see the light of day in India ?
Okay, so the Oscars are still a while away, on February 28 to be precise.

The word is already out on the steamiest Hollywood movies of 2015. Nope, they don’t figure on the Oscar nominations list.

But, they have aroused high anxiety in India, simply because they aren’t likely to be cleared by the Censor Board which banned Fifty Shades of Grey last year.

Tsk, here then are the five big tickets of Hollywood which aren’t likely to hit our multiplex screens.

The Overnight

All starts staidly at a funtime party till the bunch of men and women are strongly attracted to one another, physically, and not necessarily to partners of the same gender.

The Boy Next Door

The title says it all. It’s happened before, of course, with  a callow boy going gaga sexually about an older woman seen in the window. The only difference is that the sensation next door happens to be the one and only, no-inhibitions barred Jennifer Lopez.

Entourage:

Or the lusty life in the City of Angels aka Los Angeles. It’s adapted from the popular American TV series which frequently left nothing to the imagination, making Sex and the City look like child’s play. Bikinis, for some reason, always give the heebies jeebies to the Indian film censors.

Trainwreck

A magazine writer who has more affairs than she writes articles, flips out for a doctor she interviews…and changes her mind. She wants commitment but does he? Jaise ko taisa mila-types.

Bound

A take-off on 50 Shades of Grey, it involves sex, corporate affairs and dhoka at every twist and turn of the plot.

The good news is that with the liberal Shyam Benegal now being asked to restructure the Censor Board, Hollywood may be allowed to let off steam, fingers crossed!
